Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We use these service providers to run TradieRank:
- Stripe (payments). Stripe privacy policy.
- Resend (sending emails).
- Google (the PageSpeed check sends your website address to Google to measure speed).
- Vercel (hosting the website).
- Supabase (storing scans, customer records and support messages, in London).
- Anthropic (the AI that writes our content and support replies; it sees the message and the details needed to answer it).
- Google (Gmail, for our support inbox).
- Serper (checking Google rankings: it receives your website address, search phrase and town, not your personal details).
Some of these companies are based in or process data in the USA. Where data leaves the UK, we rely on the UK's adequacy regulations (for example the UK-US data bridge) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. [CHECK EACH PROVIDER'S TRANSFER MECHANISM BEFORE LAUNCH]
Marketing emails
We only send tips and offers if you ticked the box to say yes. Every one of those emails has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing works straight away. Customers will still get service emails (monthly reports, receipts and account messages) while they are subscribed.

Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct it
- ask us to delete it
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it
- ask for your data in a format you can take elsewhere
- withdraw consent to marketing at any time

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
About the websites we scan
Our scanner reads publicly available business web pages, the same way a search engine does. If a page includes personal data, such as a sole trader's name, it may appear in the scan report. Website owners can ask us to delete scans of their site at tradierank.support@gmail.com.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant we will email customers first.
